In October 2008, NRG Electrical
Services was founded on the principal that the American Dream is still a real and viable idea and that the
opportunity to succeed exists according to our own individual abilities and achievements. After over ten years of
assisting with the growth and development of other electrical service and repair companies, Stephen Piatt, made the
decision to use his acquired experience and abilities to establish his own company with the assistance of his wife,
Michelle Piatt, and his father-in-law, Louis Madden. During the course of the first year, the dream became a
reality. Through the use of print and internet advertising, networking, and industry alliances, NRG became a
successful and profitable business – meeting and exceeding expectations. The belief that providing honest, quality,
and timely service at a fair price and always putting the customer first proved to be an essential part of the
success of NRG.
In October 2009, NRG lost one of its
founding members, Louis Franklin Madden, at the age of 83. He was an
integral part of the inspiration and founding of NRG Electrical Services. With over 60 years experience
in the construction industry, Mr. Madden brought a wealth of knowledge and resources to the company. He
had a multitude of connections both personal and professional in the Deer Park and Pasadena communities and
his presence will be greatly missed. However, his ideas of entrepreneurship and his values of honesty,
integrity, and loyalty will remain a major influence on the staff and also on the values and principles of the
company for many years to come.
